All Roads Lead To Hollywood - Slendo
Listen To Slendo’s Brand New Project Titled, "All Roads Lead To Hollywood"
Surging out of Chattanooga, TN, and making their TGF debut is Slendo who has been steadily rising to the forefront of the city’s underground scene for the past year or so.
Although this is Slendo’s first feature on our blog I’m sure it won’t his last. With his latest offering “All Roads Lead To Hollywood”, Slendo is destined to take the next step into becoming a member of the established artists who will lead the next wave of his city.
He recently unveiled his latest project "All Roads Lead To Hollywood" which has 11 tracks and a sole feature from “LilBrian1k”
I would describe myself as a student of the game. I love learning more about different things in the industry and trying to find different ways to grow.
My ultimate goal is to make a living off of my music. I want to take care of my family, and be my own boss!
- Slendo
“Track 4 - Scarred (Razr Sharp)” is one of my favorites from the tape and we hear Slendo flowing effortlessly rapping about his past and the people who have hurt him. On this one he lets it be known that he has no remorse in letting people out his life. “Long way to go so I gotta work hard, cut a couple off coz they left me scarred”
“Track 2 - Venice“ is another song that really creates a floating sensation like you’re in Venice, “I went up like we had no ceilings, they stand up when we in the building” this song is really about Slendo taking a trip out to LA and just vibing. What would he do when in Vence, on this track he tells us everything!
The standout track on the tape has to be “Track 2 - Sunken Ave”, this song presents a deeper tone and darker mood, Slendo really describes in detail what “All Roads Lead to Hollywood” means to him. He raps about having to turn it up in order to chase his dreams of making it out to LA while fighting demons, drugs, and distraction. “Don’t let nobody put a price on your life coz it’s priceless, putting in so much work like the night shift. lately, I’ve been staying inside coz I don’t like sh**”
Notable Mentions: Side Feelings, Outro
I am really excited to watch Slendo continue to develop as an artist and build his fanbase across the south and beyond and even though it is still relatively early on for them I am very confident that he is going to be able to have a lot of longevity in his music career.
