“Children Play With Fire” - nombreKARI

NombreKARI drops off his long-awaited stellar mixtape “Children Play With Fire”

With the flood of Fall music on the rise, nombreKARI has a stand-out impactful project that is sure to excite and be memorable in your playlist. “Children Play With Fire” boldly sticks to the point with great imagery and overall a story that is musically riveting with Kari giving a take on the soundtrack of his life over beautiful production and song choices that execute the premise of the mixtape to its entirety.

To give a little background knowledge, I have had the chance to get this project early and it has been in my music rotation for quite some time now growing on me with every listen. I honestly feel like KARI has put together something really special with this project the way it is so transparent and musically cunning with its bold feel between tracks. I feel like his expanded music taste and sound is showcased well with his ability to be very surgical with lyrics and the ability to just be smooth with melodies on songs depending on the mood of the track. It honestly all plays out like a well-written novel or even a vivid movie that doesn’t get old and consistently keeps the listener engaged and fully focused till the absolute ending credits.

“Children Play With Fire” by Chicago musician nombreKARI is honestly a must listen project. No matter if it bar heavy bold tracks like “Amia” or smooth memorable melody-driven tracks like “73 Degrees” KARI has the musical fix for your needs. Personally, this project is my favorite mixtape of the year out of Chicago, so please give it limitless listens and be sure to keep up to date with nombreKARI and his collective High Life.
