After getting accustomed to Goody a while ago from a single titled “Swing”, it’s nice to see his growth and polished rap style in the forefront in this new project that staples his authentic sound. As an artist, progression is key! and clearly  Goody has been doing just that with him landing in the driver's seat of this dope project.

In breaking down ”Demos Vol, 2”, there is a lot to love with its impactful tracks that are very different in tone and subject matter. For example, when Goody slides on the track “Reach” (Feat. Valee) then switches up the mood for the song “Cycle” ( Feat. Flex). Both have very authentic rap elements but different in tone and subject matter that makes them both stick out on this 5 track project. I would have to say “Cycle” (Feat. Flex) would have to be my stand out favorite track because of the message and the overall feeling of the single. The “Cycle” that Goody and Flex vividly paint in the track is very real and highly easy to fall in, which makes me applaud both artists on putting out this track because this needs to be spoked on more in music!

I couldn’t be more pleased in this new project from Goody that has hard bars and conscious flows around every corner, with a tracklist that is well balanced with great features from Valee & Flex and solid production all around the board from Gold Haze,  Solo, and Dom J. So don’t waste any more time and be sure to stream this new project here!
