Did I Imagine (EP) - Alex Banin

Alex Banin drops of her solid EP “Did I Imagine”

I had time to sit and listen to this project for plenty of days now and I honestly can not get enough of “Did I Imagine”! To single Closure with its upbeat and funky feel to song “Brooklyn” with its deep tone and eerie sound, there is a lot to love with this project with it feeling and sounding like a well put together vivid musical that doesn’t get old!

With getting into “Did I Imagine” definitely by the start of the project, I was enticed by the bold and upbeat feel of the song “Closure” which really is captivating down to the very heavy drums within the production. I feel like this single is really catchy and a perfect song to open up the project and peak listeners’ interest. I love that Alex followed up “Closure” with “Rolling” featuring Chicago legend Saba because it really gives it a change of tone and a nice switch up of pace. The other two tracks “Forget About It” and “Brooklyn” is also unique in their own right and impactful with “Forget About It” being my favorite out of the bunch. There is just some way that Alex expresses her lyrics through her unique melodies that just seem so bold and stunning, that make this project stick out in all the right ways!

“Did I Imagine” is definitely going to be a project I am going to continuously have in play for the foreseeable future. Its well-balanced layout of songs, impactful unique melodies, and overall vivid subject matter that is showcased in plenty of bold ways are why this project is a must listen! So be sure to stream “Did I Imagine” here!
