“EVERYTHING CO$T” the latest project from FEE, is nothing short of a staple for this upcoming artist. With production credits going to numerous individuals, the beats and the bars will take you on an experience. Staying true to himself with his honest and clever rhymes, “EVERYTHING CO$T” sets the tone for a project like no other.

Fee from Maywood, IL has shown himself to be a unique and multi-talented artist in a short time. Fee draws inspiration from many different artists including Wiz Khalifa, Babyface Ray, and Pierre Bourne. Fee’s ability to blend his west coast and east coast influence with his Chicago origins has crafted a sound that will last for years to come.

He has been featured in multiple Chicago blogs/playlists including FromChicagototheWorld, WeekendWithGabes, and RealOnesPodcast.  Fee's introspective raps come from his years of being a writing student in school. Always excelling in creative writing he decided to major in it during college. After a short stint playing pro basketball, Fee has found himself back in his old ways and perfecting his craft.

FEE really slows things down on “Get Away”.  He is really reflective with his lyrics. On this smooth instrumental, produced by Bongi, Fee raps about keeping it real and disconnecting from the fake.  Fee takes the time to touch on his life outside of music, dropping insights about his life as a professional hoop star.

“mama asked like damn boy what the fuck do you really wanna be, living the fast life like NASCAR in a tinted whip I couldn’t see”

“Do I” give me Texas trill vibes, chopped n screwed type beat.  “Perfection takes time, please don’t rush it.” I like that FEE gives us a totally different flow on this track, he is talented at slowing things down to a groovy level.

Another favorite of mine is “Money Run”  the song has a very deep instrumental provided by Flea Diamonds. This is one of those tracks that you can really cruise along in the whip to It’s a song that can easily be replayed as Fee delivers tons of catchy lyrics and one-liners. Numerous times whilst listening I caught myself having to press pause to really digest the bars. This banger really makes you think, “oh wow he’s really spitting!”. He glides effortlessly on this deal and that is why this track is by far my favorite on the tape.

The song that I truly believe has the most potential has to be. “Purple Heart”. FEE is his signature true self and really showcases his lyrical ability and artistic potential. I really enjoyed this one because FEE leaves us with a bunch of quotes, the hook on this track is very memorable, he says, “Chasing a high to cover the scars” which is hella relatable and makes you feel like you're floating because of the flows that he is kicking.

Notable Lyrics - Purple Heart (Track 1)

“Purple and black the color of my heart, twist me some runts and give me my start, chasing a high to cover the scars”
“I did what was best for me, they called me selfish”
“When the money come in true feeling get shown, if the money came in a bet they changing they tone”
