With Goody reaching new heights this year, it’s only right we get more music! I have seen plenty of Goody music drops over the years but this one sticks out the bunch firmly with its infectious smooth demonor and overall visually pleasing lifestyle music video visual. Goody really has a bag of different ways he can approach his music and it’s dope to see he chose this approach with this track and roll out with it being a retro infused throwback 90’s feel with Goody really flexing his lyrics, delivery and really showing a deeper side of him.

The track and the visual really go hand in hand. When you listen to the track, you definitely feel invited into Goody’sworld with smooth airy boom bap production just like being invited into the visual with Goody turning on a vintage record player. I love that this single and visual really have deep meaning with Goody spiting about his influences and with plenty personal touches in the music video that shed more light on Goody as a person. It’s also important to note how well shot this visual is and how solid the set design and overall art direction of this visual. With the subject matter kicked between verses, it’s only right to have an old school Benz, with Goody rocking a Afro in vintage button ups. Everything about the roll out and whole feel of this track and visual just makes sense and is great representation of Goody’s growth and overall direction of his music.
