Sydny August drops of a brand new single titled “ How Does It Feel?” 

This is my first time covering Sydny’s music, and I’m definitely excited to get into detail on her brand new track. I had time to go back into her music catalog and got to listen back to both of her projects “Uni” and “Miss August” that have drooped over the past two years. She is honestly a dope and bright music talent that has an affiliation with OTF and has landed on Lil Durk’s deluxe album “The Voice”. With the drop of “How Does It Feel?” being the first music Sydny has released this year, I feel like she is gearing up for something really special and building for a great music year in 2021.

With diving into Sydny’s music heavily, I really wanted to get a feel for how she is as an artist. She has very captivating smooth RNB/ Soul melodies and vocals that are really a spectacle to the ear but more and more I get to hear her music, I’m actually falling in love with how she structures her songs and the relatable subject matter that they hold. Tracks like “Lock Down” and “Teach you a lesson” really stick out to me and her overall slowed-down atmospheric tone throughout songs is definitely captivating and really why I love her music and am now a fan.

But getting back on track, Sydny’s new single “How Does It Feel?” is honestly a solid single throughout with her melodies and sheer star ability being in the forefront. Sydny is really transparent in this single with shelling out the lyrics “ how does it feel to know you got what my heart desires? “ from the get-go with really setting the mood of this track. Hearing the hook constantly along with her smooth melodies throughout really imprinted this single in my head and is one of my favorite drops of the year! I feel like Sydny is really in her bag with this new single and really is making a name for herself! So if you haven’t already, be sure to stream this project here!
