The asshole partner who breaks up with them instead of the lover he was to them. However painful, LaSalle gives insight into what may be in the mind of said “bad gUy.”

With the chorus being  “I can’t be myself with you” and it being ample enough reason to conduct the breakup it is still painful, as even LaSalle Grandeur paints himself with the moniker of being a bad guy for wanting to be happy with them but no longer being able to.
