Lei Dominique links with Sydny August on her brand new single “BBY” 

Lei is finally back with more music and it’s dope to see her link with Sydny August which is actually an artist I have come into contact with pretty recently after hearing her latest track “How does it feel?” Both of these artists have had music together before and a solid connection, so it’s nice to see them link together on this new track “BBY”.

With going back into recent Lei songs, I feel like I really gravitate towards giving her praise on her atmospheric smooth style and really bold lyrics. I will continue that praise because “BBY” is definitely a smooth nice well put together single that really is on point with its tone and feel. I feel like the same praise I give Lei I will relay to Sydny because I do get the same sense when I hear her melodies but both have their own dope styles that add to each other. I personally gravitated towards Lei’s verse in the track more but when Syndy said “ You know what I want, so watch what you say or good luck“ in her verse that made me really open my ears and appreciate both of there performances till the last seconds of the song.

I honestly think Lei and Sydny collaborating was great timing and overall a great drop with a dope music video shot/ directed by Mason Burch with a cameo by Chicago rapper HateSonny. I honestly would love to hear more collab work in the future from Sydny and Lei because they both sound so cohesive and solid together but we will see soon enough.
