After single upon single drops over the past couple of years, Lei puts forth her first EP titled “Nostalgic Tear” right on time for summer! Lei has always been a dope artist with very dreamy captivating music, so I always wondered what a full-length project would look like. When artists first drop off a full-length project, I often look to see if they expand their sound by trying new things and also how potent their overall sound/style is over the length of the project. I recently ran my little test with “Nostalgic Tear” and honestly I have really come back with nothing but appreciation and an overall sense of Lei really showing what she is cable of coming into her own with this project having her true self and feel all over it!

Going into a little more depth on “Nostalgic Tear”, the 5 track combination of atmospheric dope-sounding tunes that stand alone very well by themselves really is the focal point but I feel looming in the background is just how well the project sounds together as a whole. I feel like Lei did a great job at crafting different sounds and playing with the production which really shed light on the title name and overall rollout of the project.

Whether it’s a more upbeat track like “Not Alone” or a Lei classic like “BML” there is a lot to offer with “Nostalgic Tear” being a solid EP to throw in your rotation for this summer. So be sure to stream “Nostalgic Tear” here.
