Qari - Skip To My Lou (feat. Twista)

With beautiful strings playing being the silhouette of this masterpiece of a rap offering, Qari links up with Chicago vet Twista for the first single off of his newest upcoming project.

Showing love to an And1 legend and NBA player Rafer Alston, Qari connects with Twista to give us some of the best bars and cadences of this year! If you heard of Qari’s music before, he always has a knack for having a clean delivery but shoves so many quotables in such a short span of time, I often have to run his tracks back to get the full scope of his lyricism. His brand new track “Skip to my Lou” still sticks to his same approach but does feel more like a clear direction with a fun complete catchy tune with Qari even recruiting a Chicago legend to also add in on the fun.

If Skip had this track in his headphones back in the day he would have done more damage on the court! Qari shells out plenty of solid basketball references all keeping a solid flow along with the bouncy vibrant beat that really makes this single stick out. I love that Qari can mix something as simple as a basketball reference and build it into a track that really speaks for itself. It’s downright catchy and with having a second verse from Twista really being the lyrical spectacle, this track really is well-rounded giving off pure rap and a reason to hit that play button time and time again. So, please check this single out from Qari and Twista and be sure to stay up to date here with Qari drops upon him releasing his upcoming project.
