Serena has honestly been on a hot streak since the release of her EP ”Sensitive” gaining the respect of other big talents in the music industry and being on numerous hot playlists! She lands on our blog today with her new release “Blue Sky”
Im happy to say that I got put on to Serena a year ago after interviewing Chicago artist Hatesonny, and I honestly am so proud of the recent success and how her music is currently touching people. Serena is a category-less artist that blends her emotions and distinctive vocals so accurately to fit whatever she is trying to express in her songs that makes her music so appealing and needed! “Blue Sky” takes that music trend head on with it being a magical assortment of airy production, on point lyrics and solid vocals.
In breaking down “Blue Sky” there is a lot to love other than what I just expressed. One of the biggest take aways in my eyes is that Serena keeps it a buck with her subject matter within the track that really speaks to her character and overall personality. I feel like the more I get to listen to Serena I do get this sense of knowing her vicariously through her music, which is a great complement because as an artist that is what you want when you can’t meet all your fans physically.
