Heffy and Komla connect on a new single titled “This Year”

Fresh into the New Year, Heffy and Komla don’t hesitate with dropping off a solid single that packs a punch. After hearing the two featured on Luke Almighty’s tape “Class Clown”, I knew the two would be a dope parring if they had a song together showcasing there unique styles combined. I only had to wait a couple months to get exactly what I wanted and it’s here in the form of a single. 

“ This Year” is a great single that showcases both Heffy and Komla’s star capabilities. Heffy starts the track with setting the mood by shelling out a rhythmic cadence, alongside a catchy hook that to me is the highlight of this song. Komla then comes in after Heffy’s verse and shells out a memorable tough verse like he usually does on every track he touches. Overall, this song is a great collab and listen from these two talented Chicago artists that always seem to excel every track.
