Goody - World Series (EP)

Goody drops off a brand new EP titled “World Series”

Goody has been gaining a ton of momentum after dropping his ”Demos” projects, with this drop being his best so far to date! Goody may have swung his way into the Major leagues with this project by it being a solid well put together and well rolled out project that sticks to an overall theme which it excels at.

With great projects being dropped this month, Goody definitely has a classic on his hands with “World Series”. It’s bold title, down to its merchandise, overall theme, witty delivery, and even down to the baseball diamond cover art is a great way to approach dropping off a piece of art in the music world. I love when artists have a theme and overall plan into dropping projects, and Goody really shows what he is cable of in this regard by having some of the best merch I have seen from local artists and one of the best themes to his rollout. It means a lot when an artist can do this at a lower level because the sky is really the limit when they get the proper resources they need!

In breaking down “World Series”, the 4 tracks on the EP are a great mix of different ways Goody can approach a song. The two tracks to start the tape “No deal” and “Money Flow” really set the mood with their uptempo pace, savory bars, and baseball metaphors while “Out For Me” and “Bags” take a different more introspective approach to finish the tape. I would have to say personally “Bags” and “Money Flow” would have to be my two favorite joints on the tape because they both sonically sound so well as one being a bar heavy rap track and the other being an RNB classic.

Goody honestly has stepped it up once again with this release with “World Series” being a memorable project down to the cohesive roll out! If this is only an EP, I can only just image what Goody is cable of for a full length project.

So be sure to stream “World Series” here!
