For fall festivities, the common thing for people to do is to incorporate Halloween fun into their schedule. I got to do just that and more at The Basement Of The Dead which opened my eyes up to a whole different engaging wonderful spooktastic world.

I stumbled on figuring out about the Basement Of The Dead from a huge billboard posted on route 30. It peaked my interests so I continued to ask around about the haunted house and get more information. I looked it up and seen they got awards from Buzzfeed and the Chicago Tribune. After digging a little more and getting amazing feed back from people that went, I knew I had to go this year and so that’s exactly what I did.

On arrival, I was blown away by the flawless decorations and professionalism of the actors in costumes. It really made me get in the mood and the mindset of letting loose and enjoying the spirit of Halloween. I got too enjoy both haunted houses “Basement Of The Dead” and the “Shattered 3D Nightmare” experience that was down right amazing every twist and turn. Both houses was filled with non stop thrills and awesome decorations that will sure scare the shit out of you and make you a huge fan of what the Basement Of The Dead has to offer.

One thing that I wasn’t expecting upon arrival to The Basement of The Dead was how awesome the environment is outside of the haunted house location and how flawless there DJ named Psych Jam Music is. What I was expecting blew my expectations through the roof. I knew I was in for scares and fun but what I didn’t know was that I would be immersing myself in and environment with dope music, laughter, and awesome thrills.

DJ Psych Jam is a versatile DJ from the Chicago land area that really caught my eye during my visit at the haunted house. I had the pleasure of speaking and getting to know the dope DJ after my visit. Psych Jam has been in the scaring industry since he was 14 years old and has been working at this particular location for 9 years. He told me that “this is my favorite thing to do in the world” and I clearly saw that in demeanor the way he controlled the audience during the time I visited the haunted house.

Combining the two worlds of music and the scare industry is what Psych Jam loves and prides himself on. Psych also has a decorated career as a DJ outside the scare industry that puts his true musical talents to work. You can book Psych Jam music for weddings, music shows, parties, and even more events. Psych is a professional and probably the best DJ I have seen the way he markets and carries himself. His signage and name was everywhere upon arrival at the haunted house, which made me feel like I was at a party promoted by him. The way he changed the atmosphere and vibe to make me feel like I was at a party rather then a haunted house, really speaks to his awesome capability he posses as a versatile DJ. I couldn’t honestly think of a better DJ that you should have at your events. In retrospect, I was genuinely blown away by the atmosphere and vibes of the environment outside the Basement Of The Dead and through out the walls of its two spooky haunted houses.
