GRLZ WKND is an event that was created and influenced by the whole premise of Girl Power. No matter if you're a guy, you can still respect and idolize the fact that women are powerful talents of there own and deserve a space to really flourish. GRLZ WKND takes that task head-on with showcasing an abundance of beautiful talented women with a music showcase. This showcase has a very stacked solid lineup with superstar potential through every act. The angels that will be blessing the stage will be Eleeza Silva, T$, DJ King Inesse, Nina Tech, Lei Dominique, and lastly the headliner Tay Money.GRLZ WKND will be held at the Avondale music hall at 5 PM, Sunday, March 8th (that falls on international women’s day). This is an event powered by ad agency VERA and partnered with SPKRBX and Healthy Hood Chicago. All proceeds of the event will be donated to the nonprofit organization/ partner Healthy Hood Chicago. The Dead Or Alive Mob which consists of 3 talented dope women, Marelyn, Kristin & Jazmin are having an event to remember at Prosper Skate shop Friday Nov.1! The event will be hosting a lot of talented artists throughout the Chicago music & modeling scene. There will be performances from Hesh Cardiel, Komla, Myles Bryant, Rob Baco, and Scripted Kristinherself accompanied by provided sounds by DJ Retro and Kinginesse. Alongside art by one of my favorite artists Kiltxty and a pop-up shop by moxino (which is Marelyn’s clothing brand). The event will also be sponsored by El Nacimento Tequila, so this gives even more of an incentive to come through and enjoy the dope music and art while getting slapped in the process.
