I have heard countless Joey Purp and Kami music over the past years, so when I say I was excited about this drop I mean it! “Cho talk” is a short but slapping single that gets the point across and is honestly infectious with its immense replayability factor.
In diving into “Cho Talk”, one thing that always gets me to hit that play button is the inviting manner the way the track starts with Purp’s infectious hook. I feel like the quick start and memorable hook to this single really grabs the listener and keeps the attention where it’s needed. The production also plays a huge part in being a vessel to house Purp and Kami’s vigorous flows on this single so sonically. After 5 playthroughs, the song still kept me coming back for more, which is a great sign with any single because it shows me that there was enough content and subject matter to bring me back. Other than the details I just expressed, there is another factor of this single that keeps me coming back which is Kami’s verse which gives a breath of fresh air to the track and a nice needed balance.
