After seeing CP perform at Lyrical Lemonade’s Tecca show, interviewing him, and hearing countless hard singles, it finally comes down to the day I get to unpack his first project. With always an artist that has hot singles with a catalogue riddled with memorable catchy tunes, the question is can they make a solid fire project? CP answered that question and more, solidifying his name for one to look out for years to come!

In dissecting this project, “Cinema” defenitly does feel like a movie with its bold sense of direction and raw subject matter. CP’s style the way he spits bars so effortlessly but says real shit that makes you really go back and dissect each bar is engaging and solid through each track. Every track definitely has a sense of depth that plays in to the idea of CP’s life (as of late) feeling like a movie.

Tracks “Get That” “Hit My Phone” and “Redline” really stood out to me but as a whole, the project is cohesive and is hard to play one song with out running the whole project back. Overall “Cinema” is a must listen, and I’m so proud of CP excelling to new hights being on the Miami Rolling Loud lineup this summer, and delivering on his first project.

So make sure you stream “Cinema” here on all platforms.

Rawest Lyric: “If I see a bitch I like ima get that, niggas talking like they workin for the dispatch, big 4’5 it’ll push a nigga’s shit back, nigga been a feen for the dip where the chips at? “ Track 3- Get That (ft. Kenny V)
