OG Stevo - Days In LA (EP)

OG Stevo drops off a solid EP titled “ Days In LA” 

Since the drop of his single “One Take”, it feels like OG Stevo has been gearing up for another release of music. Now we get it in the form of an EP titled “Days In LA” which showcases OG Stevo’s iconic sound through deep melodies and raw lyrics.

With first giving “Days In LA” a couple of plays, I knew right off the bat this is some real authentic OG Stevo music right here! His harmonious melodies along with his deep subject matter and with OG Mic Will just killing it on production just locks in the OG sound in my head like a recurring dream. I loved his most recent project “Stevo Reloaded“in which Stevo had various types of beats and flows he played with which really showed his versatility. But this project “Days In LA” really gets back to the prominent coveted OG sound and really makes me appreciate this project a lot and how the OG team has crafted their look and style as a team through the years.

“Days In LA” definitely has that unique Chicago feel but with song titles and subject matter that all point to the fact that Stevo has been spending time in LA and really is being blessed with new opportunities. Stevo never acts like his route was sweet, and songs like “Big Losses” really depict that! I feel like all 4 tracks on this project are really cohesive with their overall tone and sound and really play off each other well down to the last track “These Balenciagas”.

Honestly, the OG Team always puts out great work, and “Days In LA” is another representation of great execution, memorable production, and overall an embodiment of Stevo’s well-deserved journey to success.
