HEAVY CROWNZ - Whole lotta seeds
With community being the focus, Heavy Crownz embarks on a journey of planting seeds in his newest project “Whole Lotta Seeds”
Englewood based artist Heavy Crownz has a lot to say in his brand new project that really sets the bar with its delivery. Heavy Crownz is definitely known for being a solid lyricist but in this project he really taps into a deeper side of him really giving a soundtrack for the modern day person which he calls “ Farmers”. Crownz chose this analogy because the everyday person acts as “farmers” intentionally planting seeds of positivity in their community. With that analogy really hitting home and making sense to me, I felt like that premise is the backbone of this entire project that stood firm and payed off with it being really relatable and well put together.
First off, I love the approach Heavy Crownz took on this project because it really does feel like a warm project with a very potent sound with flows that add to an overall message. No matter if it’s “Vegetation!” “Diryte boy” or “Nights By the Lake” I feel like Crownz really has a very inviting smooth way he approaches his music which feels nostalgic and just what I need at times. His cunning way that he talks about a past situation or even just the titles of his tracks all connecting with the subject matter within the tracks and all shedding light on the meaning/ tittle of the project is just a very fine touch that doesn’t go unnoticed.
Overall, Heavy Crownz really has a lot to say with this project being bold and smooth with its delivery and with it being the soundtrack for everyday “farmers” in our community. Be sure to stream “Whole Lotta Seeds” here.
