Hates Sonny and Kari link on new single “Drag Racing”

I wondered when we would get another joint record from HL (High Life) members Kari and Sonny, and I’m so happy it came in the form of a brand new single along with a dope video to fully depict their vivid musical efforts. This single is definitely a nice bouncy solid track with production from Myfriendnate that really brings this single to life.

Before I start breaking down this single, I first would like to give Sonny and Kari their flowers for honestly being so consistent and constant forces in the underground Chicago scene. Over the past two years, I have really seen both of them grow within their music and it’s honestly because of their solid foundation. I still can go back and watch visuals or listen to tracks that are years old but still deliver on so many levels. In conclusion, these high-life dudes definitely a force to be wrecking with.

So now back to the single “Drag Racing”. I really feel like Sonny and Kari really did their thing on this single with having a solid visual representation to go along with it. Their charismatic flows played well with the visual and overall feel with the song giving the single itself more life. One of my highlights of this track is when Kari hops on for his verse because he completely bodies it, finishing the song on a high note! Overall this single is solid and definitely worth a listen and watch with a fire visual. So be sure to stream here!
