First Round Pick: Max Contract - Vela Seff

Vela Seff drops off a deluxe version to recent project titled “ First Round Pick: Max Contract” 

I can’t stress enough how much I listen to Vela and how much I appreciate his music. I have had “First Round Pick” in my music rotation sense it has dropped and I still come back to tracks like “Hardknock”, “Slimetalk” and “Dr<3G Party” very frequently! This Deluxe edition really just adds more solid tracks from Vela that are definitely worth a listen and a nice trip back to an expanded version of the project showing that Vela is the best undisputed First Round Pick.

From the jump, the first track on the deluxe really starts the project off right by paying homage to fellow Kamp Militia member and long friend Hardnock Shaun with a looped drake beat over song titled “August 8th”. I really loved that Vela started off the project with this single because Kamp Militia is such a cohesive group of talents, and showcasing Shaun in that way to start of the project really shows how much he meant to Vela and a lot of people. Vela does a great job after “August 8th” to pick up more of the energy with the track “Battle Scars” which is definitely my favorite on the deluxe edition so far. It honestly feels like sense Vela has such a solid carved out memorable sound, he can ride on any beat comfortably and the transition between tracks and subject matter definitely depicts that. All 7 songs on the deluxe really add a nice set of more sounds, hard production, and a deeper side of Vela with songs like “August 8” and “Kognac Kowboy” really sticking out.

Overall, “First Round Pick: Max Contract” is a very nice deluxe of memorable added tracks, that are definitely worth listens and to be added to your playlists. So be sure to stream the brand new deluxe project here.
