Navigating the Cosmic Soundscape: Galaxy Francis Innovative Album Rollout

Following the release of iNNERGALACTIC last year, Galaxy Francis has stayed on my radar, so once it was announced that he was going to release a new project, it quickly piqued my interest.

Galaxy released the project in a very unique way, he decided to release the project one single at a time up to the point we were on the 10th and final song, which lead to the full release of the album.

The album was fully released April 17th, 2024 and it’s only 35 minutes long, so you can nearly listen to the whole album in its entirety on your way to work if you make a commute.

With the majority of the production, mixing and mastering coming solely from Galaxy, he has a lot of features on the album. With eight of the 10 songs having a feature, it did seem to dilute the experience a little. It would’ve been great to have some more solo songs from Galaxy because the two songs without features make you want more of that.

Do the features ruin the project, no they definitely help and a lot of them were amazing. We have Morgan Gold, Ausar, Sir Michael Rocks, Surdeep, Josh K, Kenny Bureaux, Valee, MFnMelo, and Manaseeh. The first song Be which features Morgan Gold sets the tone of the album. UPSTAiRS which features Ausar and KUWAiT featuring Valee can be seen as your turn up or party songs. Hyperspace has an amazing beat switch which has Galaxy singing for the first part of the song and then we get the rapping Galaxy that we love.

As a whole this is a great album and one that can be played throughout the summer at parties. We got some great music videos that also came out along with the releases of some of the singles so it’ll be interesting how Galaxy continues the post roll out of the album.
