It honestly feels so long ago since Haze’s last project “More Than Gold“ which he had a listening party for which I got to ultimately be apart of. This time around Haze is back better than ever with showing growth, consistency, and tenacity in this brand new project “From Here On Out” which is a must-listen of immaculate rap music and soulful RNB sprinkled throughout.

If you haven’t got in tune with Gold Haze yet, one thing to note is that this guy is a genuine straight music machine. His beats, presence, and style all speak to his love for music and you clearly feel and hear it in everything he drops. Prior to this album, he put out a tweet that said that Jay-Z, Kanye, J.Cole and Drake influenced this album and you can honestly hear it from the start of the project with the track “Higher” setting the mood and overall stage for what’s about come.

“Higher” definitely caught my attention on my first play-through and really gave me Ye vibes throughout. I love that Gold Haze really expanded on a lot of flows and melodies that really showcase his growth as an artist. Going down the tracklist, every track has a feeling of differentiating from one another with its tone and the overall message that really makes certain tracks stand out. I love that later in the project it gets more RNB heavy with great features from Evan, D Noel, Darrion, Just Adam that really ties a knot on this straight gift of an album.

Pivoting into the new year, Gold Haze has started tremendously with this brand new album “From Here On Out” and I couldn’t be more proud of the overall final result! My personal favorite track from this project would have to be Scenic Route ft. Joey Purp, but please be sure to stream this album here to find your personal favorites and overall decipher this brand new project.
