Gold Haze wraps up the end of the year on a high note by dropping More Than Gold.
The Chicago rapper’s has released numerous singles throughout the year from “Trench Coat (prod by Kilt Karter & Gold Haze)” . This song itself definitely catapulted him further into the rap conversation this year coming out of Chicago.
More Than Gold is designed to show Haze’s versatility, but this project does so much more, his lyricism, song making ability, production capabilities, Gold Haze’s has no weak links. This project is worth “More Than Gold”
This past Saturday, the team and I got the chance to chop it up with Haze at his release/listening party hosted at Fort Knox Studios. You could tell by the amount of energy in the room that anticipation for project was at large, this Rich ViSion emcee sure knows how to bring in a crowd. More Than Gold is marked as one of my favorite project to drop this year. The self-produced project is packed with staple tracks like “Withdraw (prod by Gold Haze & Darrion Jackson)” and my favorite track “Palm Trees (prod by Juke Wong & Darrion Jackson).
At the moment, I am anticipating Gold Haze to have an even better year in 2020. This year he has carved in name in the underground scene as a producer, and now artist, who know what is in store.
