Brooklyn’s own Jay Critch gets smutty on this brand new drill infused cut. Critch has been dropping straight singles and visuals for the past couple months but this single in particular frays from the pack with its deep New York/ UK drill vibe and tone. It’s dope to see Critch body a beat like this because it can really open the doors for many other more Brooklyn or New York artists, in general, to emerge with this type of style of music (for example how Pop Smoke blew up this year). I have heard Jay Critch flow on every type of beat I can think of, which just proves the fact that he is a true lyricist and student to the game that applies pressure each track he drops.
“Spooky” is another solid bar heavy track but differentiates its self with its drill infused production that makes it an interesting great single from Jay Critch.
