LaSalle Grandeur - Before the TEARS (EP)

LaSalle Grandeur releases a 3-song EP titled Before the TEARS EP that is the predecessor of his upcoming debut album titled TEARS.

What You Gonna Do, Poof!, and Shadow are the songs inside this EP that follow LaSalle as he branches out to New & Bigger sound. What You Gonna Do explores LaSalle taking on the role of an outside friend giving himself a much anxious-filled yet needed conversation through the hook. The conversation LaSalle has with himself is one about his battles with Depression. The Melodious rifts from both the guitar and bass and rich drums that make the production feel warm are met with LaSalle and his triumphant message “You need to stay and fight”. In the song Poof!

LaSalle talks about breaking the cycles that were planted by his depression. Discussing how his happiness and satisfaction of life “go poof like magic.” In order to break this vicious cycle, LaSa tells himself that he needs to accept some help and to come to a realization that this experience of bleakness and despair will pass and become a part of his past life. The final installment of this trilogy is the song Shadow, the song is filled with loud synths and bass that help encompass an indie-pop/indie-rock production. LaSalle warns himself that he can not run from the problems he holds in his psyche in order to achieve wholeness.
