Prod XVZN & Jay 2 drops off a solid new single titled “Pineapple Express”
After the release of his project last year, “4 tha wait” Jay 2 is back with a vibrant catchy single produced by xvzn. From the jump, I was interested in this new track not only because of the parring of the solid two artists but also because of the dope artwork Benskyacht cooked up for this cover. The nostalgic cover really caught my eye, and really put a nice mood and feel into themes and subject matter I was about to hear in the track. Just as I suspected, Jay 2 hasn’t missed a beat with combining great delivery and impactful bars that stick that makes this track a great sonically balanced song. The catchy melody drove hook and the on-point production is honestly the highlight of this single to me and will have me coming back for more and more plays. I hope in the future I can keep hearing and seeing all 3 artists collab on more work, but for now, I will enjoy this single to the fullest.
