After reaching new heights with being on the Chicago Reader, Wemmy has been locked in more than ever with dropping off this hard track “Realistic Fiction”. I got the pleasure to hear Wemmy perform this song live before it dropped at a Fourtune House open mic event and let me tell you, you need to hear this track in person to fully appreciate it and love it. I always knew Wemmywas a rap savant and nice with his surgical flow but I didn’t know how great of a performer Wemmy actually is until I had seen him live myself. 

“Realistic Fiction” speaks volumes and expresses the day to day grind of not feeding into the hype. Wemmy goes into detail with bars on how people fabricate and cap on how there life is going, to make others feel like it’s fact when it’s actually fiction. “Realistic Fiction” really depicts a lot of scenarios that go on, that most people turn a blind eye too. Wemmy hits these themes and scenarios head-on with a ton of energy with high-quality bars and delivery, which makes this song a must-listen.
