Senite – Chaotic

Discover Senite's Latest Single 'Chaotic' and Her Rise as One of Chicago's Top Artists

        Coming off an amazing run of becoming a bigger artist in the past year, Senite (Seh – night) has had an interview with Lyrical Lemonade, attended the Grammys, and is the #2 artist to watch, based off of the Chicago list that the media outlet What’s the Word put out back in March. In the past year music-wise, Senite has put out 3 singles. All of this leads us to where we are now and that’s “Chaotic” which was released on May 22nd, 2023. If you haven’t checked out Senite yet, her music is a bit of an alternative R&B so it’s something you might hear on a Frank Ocean or Solange playlist.

The production was amazing with a bouncy mellow beat with hints of jazz and after looking at the production credits I should’ve known off the bat that our friend Sebastian Kamae was the producer. Senite says that the song came about after the pair first got together and within the first hour, they had the beat and a verse done. Then within the second hour, they had the entire song finished. The song showcases Senite’s mesmerizing voice in a very repetitive and catchy hook singing “Someday we’ll all be free.”

The song is also just about two minutes long and just based off the hook it makes you want more. Senite has a large catalog because she started out by releasing three Eps from 2020-2021 so if you’re looking for more, go check that out.
