When it comes to being a multifaceted talent, there are plenty of routes you’re faced with. The biggest being, what will you choose as your overall career. Shamon Brown Jr. has been in the spotlight for his acting career with being on The Chi for a total of 8 fruitful seasons ( which I’m a huge fan of). The show is in its last season and Shamon is making an interesting pivot in his Career. With being a well known actor, Shamon is now venturing into another sector of his artistry with being also a music artist simultaneously.

There is plenty of cross over when it comes to the big screen and the music industry. Even a couple of actors on The Chi cast also make music, but I believe Shamon is special when it comes to his music craft. With fusing RNB and melodic rap, Shamon has made his way into my playlist with some of his most recent hits like L.A.C.I and the club banger “Make it clap”.

“Make It Clap” is Shamon’s brand new single that is turning heads and has landed in my daily rotation of music. It’s a melodic club hit that is short and simple but packs a fierce punch. I love that this single is pretty much an ass shaking anthem, but it shows me more of Shamon’s star power because I am more tuned into to his deep RNB cuts. “Make It Clap” is just a fun track that is easy to play and easy to recommend to fans of Shamon and new comers.

Shamon has been making music for a couple of years now, and with the end of The Chi this is the prefect time to dive into his music catalogue and get reintroduced to a bright star transitioning more and more into the music world.
