the source (official music video) - Khid Nando

Khid Nando makes his TGF debut with visuals to single “the source”

Khid Nando drops off his highly anticipated video “the source” of his newest EP - The Contortionist, and I can already tell you without a doubt in my mind that it’s one of his strongest efforts to date.

The Contortionist is about bending over backward for your goals and for other people. It essentially means twisting and bending into a position requiring effort and discomfort. This is the idea behind the artwork.” - Khid Nando

Nando takes us on a journey to another world that you need to hear to understand exactly what I mean.

Although there are so many layers to this visual, I think it goes without saying that Nando has really worked on his ability to be able to tell deep stories through his rhymes. His focus on lyrics and flow really shines through as he paints the picture of his life through his words and this amazing video.

Nando decided that he wanted to team up with director Luan Segiums to shoot a movie for this hit, and I couldn’t have been more excited after all of the snippets and previews that were shared all over social media. As it opens up, Nando on his block, taking us through a day in life.

All in all, the visual for this record is one of the most interesting videos I’ve seen all month, and I’m not surprised because Khid Nando had been hinting at this release for a little while with his previous drop and video to the single “The Contortionist” recently.

At the end of the visual, too, there is some poetry recited by Khid Nando as he walks across a football field by himself. He says some deep bars that leave the viewer questioning what he has in store…

While I can’t wait to run back The Contortionist for the foreseeable future, I highly suggest you do the same and if for some reason you need any convincing, just watch the music video for “the source” and you’ll be hooked.

”I just want to make good music and create a catalog that I can be proud of. I want my music to be authentic so people can relate to it.” -
