I have been knowing Marcus Nogood and have been a fan of his music for several years now! He was actually one of the first artists I have ever started to cover in the underground music scene, so every time I come across his work I’m am proud to give my insight and show love when needed. Marcus has been really quiet with releases as of late, so when I heard the news of a new project, I couldn’t wait to hear what the final result was going to be. Without a doubt, this project is Marcus’s best work by far and is definitely an 8 track combination of straight jiggy fly music.

With breaking down “Traitors Don’t Eat” I got a lot of time to sit down and fully let this project marinate and I’m here to tell you that Nogood definitely was in his bag over the 8 track playlist. I got the chance of getting this project a week early, so I have definitely gone through numerous play-throughs of the whole project. Marcus did a great job at making this body of work so cohesive down to the touch of having every song fade into the next (which I have heard done by plenty of great artists). This makes me want to play the project from top to bottom every time I turn it on which really stamps the longevity and catchiness of this project as a whole.

I really feel like he stepped it up definitely with his delivery and overall sound with this project being a very memorable take and look into the meaning of “Traitors Don’t Eat” and the overall lifestyle of Marcus Nogood. This project is really a nice polished piece of work that is a great listen so please be sure to stream this brand new project here “Traitors Don’t Eat”.

Rawest Lyric:

“I hold it down watch me pave the way, Traitors Don’t eat I can’t save a plate, Food on my plate I eat good I been gaining weight” - Pave The Way track 2
