Underground Kings - Luke Almighty

Coming from the depths of the underground, Chicago producer Luke Almighty drops his second project titled “Underground legends” consisting of plenty of hot Chicago talents.

Luke Almighty is no stranger to our blog at all having nothing but classics grace our page over the years. If you have been invested in the Chicago music scene for the past 5 years you for sure probably heard at least 1 produced Luke Almighty song which just shows how such a consistent force he is when it comes to music. Producing for some of the best talent Chicago has to offer, Luke kicks it up a notch by putting together another compilation of fire music that showcases his production skills and eye for talent.

Unlike his last project After Thoughts which dropped in 2020, I feel like Luke has a more ironed-out all-around sound with “Underground Kings” this time around. He has fewer features with Pat Guwop being the lead artist on most tracks which honestly sounds right! You can definitely tell Luke and Pat have been locked in for a while because it just sounds too damn good the way both of them just easily jell together with both of their styles kind of forming into one. The whole 20 tracks really do have a lot to offer, with Luke really flexing his taste for different sounds but really excelling with his trap-heavy infused tracks.

With great artists, outstanding production, and a title that really encapsulates the story of the music, Luke Almighty really has a great mixtape on his hands with “Underground Legends”. Feel free to listen to the full project here!
