“YOTD” - CP

CP kicks it up a notch in his newest project “YOTD” giving fans and new listeners a great new installment of fresh balanced work, and his approach to having this year be his! 

“YOTD” which translates to Year of The Dog, is a bold statement and approach to CP’s newest project to date. The overall theme and cover art invoking a sense of “musical take over” is a theme that plays well in this 8-track list of well-balanced songs ranging from a very unique beat selection. I feel like the title fits perfectly with the tracklist and theme of the project because I really do get the emotion/ charisma CP was getting across the whole project fitting well with the unique song selection and a sound that CP gives off that is unmatched!

From starting the project with single “How” all the way to the last track on the project “Chicago” CP strings together a lot of solid sounds that are the backbone of this project giving it’s the coveted name. I love that CP really showed his versatility and music savy by having a house, juke, drill, and even more categories of sounds all mixed into this hard-hitting cocktail of a project.
