Badger is an artist that I have gotten the chance to be recently put on to last year. He has made an impression on me with his great music and now he is back with another solid single that is a must listen!
Badger has put together some very solid singles over 2020 including big tracks like Ugly Love, Bail & Fade Out. It’s nice to see Badger keep up the momentum by dropping this new track “New York Room” at the start of the new year. I feel like with every drop, we get to hear Badger becoming more and more a name that you need to know in the music scene.
With diving into detail on “New York Room” Badger is definitely in his bag with this one. The combination of his on-point melodies along with his punchy lyrics is top notch and is what makes this song really stick out to me. The inviting first bar when Badger says” we always doing shit we wish we never did, to feel the thrill we used to get when we were kids“ really captivates the listener and locks in the energy that’s expressed for the whole track.
