After seeing this track teased for a couple of weeks, I couldn’t wait to hear the full version. Both CP & Komla are dope talented artists that I’m truly big fans of, so getting to hear them both on a track together produced by Luke really put my hungry music soul at peace with the outcome.
In this single “PESOS” Komla starts the vibe with throwing out lyrics accompanied by savy auto tune that sets the mood. I never heard Komla use auto tune on his voice, but the outcome was very interesting and a nice added element to Komla artillery of flows and sounds. CP hops in halfway through the song to give it a breathe of fresh air with his butter smooth flow, which is to me the highlight of this single. I love when CP chooses to have the second verse on singles with other artists because right when he hops on a track, his smooth vocals are so captivating it reinvests your attention and gives the track more prominence.
