DrewIsABoss Unleashes A Thrilling EP

Since last being covered for his debut EP Sun Shower, DrewIsABoss brings us his newest project Moon Trail. For those unfamiliar with the artist, DrewIsABoss is a Chicago rapper who has been making music under this name since about 2019. Being a member of the collective Honorable Legends, Drew makes similar music to his collective mate, SONNY, another rising Chicago artist. Drew has been very busy this year, besides releasing this ep, Drew has released countless singles, a few features, and some live performances to go along with that.

Diving into Moon Trail, the EP was released October 31st, 2023, and Drew gave us seven new songs with a run time of about 18 minutes. The project was mixed entirely by Chris The Kingpin and mastered by MyFriendNate. With that being said, this EP is perfect to throw on in the car, while you’re getting ready to go out or anything along those lines. A perfect picture that you can paint while listening to the project is imagining the music being played over a scene from Fast and The Furious or some other racing scene due to the tempo of the production throughout the whole project. Drew brings in three features for the project, which include Kaylo, SONNY, and Hun.

With Drew having caught our interest already, this EP now has our full attention, and we can just hope he continues to grow as an artist and see what he’ll bring us in the coming year.
