"For My Niggaz" by Travis Hendriiix

"If I'm not advancing at an extreme level, then I'm not doing it right. There's no room for a plateau. I need to get better every day, and really release music that is better than the last."

As an artist, Travis Hendriiix doesn't like to be classified as a rapper. He also doesn't like to be zoned in on one city like Chicago. Reason being that limits his outreach instantly. Hearing 'He's a rapper from Chicago', cuts out alternative listeners in Cleveland. So he says he's an artist and lets his music speak for itself. Of course, He is going to recognize his hometown but seeks fans in Japan, Africa, England and etc.

The song For My Niggaz is actually almost 2 years old and was first released under a previous stage name. Hendriiix took it down after 2 or 3 days and then took a break from music. Trying to find himself, and form a true flow.

He then re-released the single with more financial backing to it and more of a plan.

I'm not trying to be like those other guys who just drop a song on SoundCloud and hope to blow up overnight. I'm really distributing this single, and future projects, and putting real money behind it to get it that much further. - @travishendriiix

The single really doesn't have a true meaning behind it.

I hate when artists always have some deep story behind every single. I heard the beat, thought of a hook and made a hit. Lol simple as that. - @travishendriiix

For Travis Hendriiix, in 2017 his only goal is better every day.

"If I'm not advancing at an extreme level, then I'm not doing it right. There's no room for a plateau. I need to get better every day, and really release music that is better than the last."

Hendriiix currently has plenty of singles and projects waiting to be dropped. But again, he has to have a plan in place.

"It's not just SoundCloud, I need revenue. Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal, all of that. I'm here to make an impact, not just release music with no reasoning or logic. "
