Your Favorite Racer Zooms through Life, love, and fast cars

Back on the TGF page we have icyybands as he recently released his project Your Favorite Racer, which was released on November 27th, 2023. Having released a few singles, music videos, and working as a videographer, icyybands has stayed busy while trying to cater to his fans. In this latest project, icyybands considers this as a compilation of music he’s created throughout the past year and a half as he’s been working on the project since late 2021. This can be seen as we get the inclusion of previous singles such as Pink Taco and S-550.

Your Favorite Racer is a 15-song project with 5 of the songs already being previously released as singles. The themes of the project are very similar to past icyybands projects with lyrics talking about cars, women, and clothes but he also gives us an insight into some of his personal life such as the current relationship and the passing of his grandmother. On the project, icyybands has three features, he has Lunar Rue and Scott Reaper on the song titled Confessions, which is a house music type beat with a rendition of the same song by Usher. The other feature is by a new artist named 75, and he’s on the song titled Heart Race which is more of a mellow piano type of beat that isn’t something we’ve seen icyybands really rap on before.

With this project icyybands definitely ends his year on a high note, so now we’ll just wait on some more music videos to go with the project and some performances to follow suit in the coming year.
