Re-Introducing The Brooklyn Rapper Moses the Marauder With a New EP

Featured today is Brooklyn raised artist, Moses the Marauder. With him being from New York, I didn’t have any prior knowledge on Moses besides previous articles. Going through his music catalog, the 23 year old rapper has been releasing singles kinda consistently since his 2021. With his last project, released in March 2022. To describe Moses' style of music, we would have to look at his influences, which come from the likes of Nas, and the late great Capital STEEZ and Mac Miller. So if you’re more into that boom bap, almost conversational like flow, and jazzy production type music Moses is someone to check out!

Diving into  The Thief of Always, the EP was released on March 22nd, 2024 with six songs and 14 minute runtime. While a short project, Moses talks about a lot of his ups and downs working in the industry, from rapping about venues who never gave him an opportunity to not yet fulfilling his dreams of living in another state yet. Diving deeper into venues not booking Moses, he said that led him to fund his own shows which included the release party for The Thief of Always. With all the storytelling from the EP, Moses gives his fans a good inside look as to what he has been dealing with.
