Fadah & CBBeatz – Going Up? (Ep)

Mississippi Native “fadah” makes his Ghetto Flower debut

Making his TGF debut, we have Mississippi native, Fadah (Fay-duh). In his latest release Going Up? Fadah brings us a five song EP that is entirely produced by Chicago producer CBBeatz. Fadah has been busy in the past year from having appearances on iLLANOiZE radio and other podcasts, created a new collection for his clothing line, to releasing an album back in May. To go along with that, Fadah has become a stamped artist for the 93 Boyz, which is Vic Mensa’s cannabis brand.

Diving into the music, as stated already this is a five song EP, with a runtime of about 15 minutes.

Track Highlights:

  1. Killin’ Raps - CBBeatz gives us this production that would fit perfectly in a movie after the main character achieves whatever they were trying to do. Fadah also gives us some memorable lines and a Kenan & Kel reference.

  2. I Got It - On this song we get some lines about Fadah on how he may be seen as a newer artist he has been rapping for a while now, along with a reference to How to Get Away With Murder.

  3. Alphabet B****** - Probably the most memorable, with it being an homage to Lil Wayne’s song of the same name. Just like Wayne’s song, Fadah raps about encounters with women using their names to list off every letter of the alphabet.

  4. Demonstrate - is a nice filler track that’ll make you bop your head to the beat, but nothing really jumps out as much as the rest of the project.

  5. Say That - In the 5th and final song, this seems to be the most personal/emotional out of the EP as Fadah talks about the growth that has been occurring in his life.

After releasing two projects in 2023, it wouldn’t be surprising if Fadah decides to take a bit of a break and focus on continuing to build his brand. Overall, Fadah did his thing with this project, and we can’t wait to see what 2024 brings him
