Matty Wood$ is back in perfect fashion with a brand new single titled “Headstrong” 

Matty Wood$ is a master when it comes to chill music that bumps, so it’s not a surprise that we get another memorable single out of him with “Headstrong”. But what often surprises me now is Matty’s beat selection and the way that he crafts his style over any production which has a very satisfying outcome each time. I remember hearing plenty of singles from Matty’s late project “Autotone” with him playing around with different flows using auto-tune and now I’m getting more experimentation with production but more of the same authentic Matty Wood$. 

No doubt Matty has a coveted formula and this chill smooth single sits alongside some of my favorite Matty Wood$ drops with its cover art and very introspective feel to the single with Matty getting more deep with his bars then usual. I feel like the subject matter of this track sticks with me more than anything because it shows me Matty is growing as a person and as an artist and is giving more things fans and myself can relate to in his music. Honestly would love to hear more tracks like “Headstrong” in the future but only time will tell a fan like myself can be on the lookout for more Matty Wood$ drops.
