Scott Reaper – Reap What You Sow (EP)

Unveiling the artistry of scott reaper, formerly known as 99kez

Scott Reaper is no stranger to the TGF page as he was previously featured but under the former name “99Kez.” After previously releasing a sole DSP single in 2022 under the new name Scott Reaper, he remained very quiet besides a few songs that he released on his SoundCloud page. For those unfamiliar with his sound, Scott Reaper is the type of rapper who is going to deliver more of an experience and wow you, with his melodic sound and chosen production or he will give you the type of rap that leaves you with a sourface throughout the song.

In his return back to the music scene Scott Reaper delivers his four-song ep titled Reap What You Sow with a runtime of about 11 minutes. The ep was released on December 29th 2023 which also happens to be Scott’s birthday. In the first song Amends, we get somewhat of a harmonic type of production as Scott raps about a girl from a previous relationship and how she wants to rekindle the relationship and make amends. On the second song The Cyclone Effect, Scott just talks about how his life was going at the time of writing. The third song, Under Your Skin, we get a nice sax sample which isn’t something that Scott has rapped on before, thus showing the growth of an artist he’s made since last hearing from him. Then finally, the fourth song Cycles, we have Scott rapping about the cycles that this girl keeps stringing him along on.

Scott Reaper, formerly known as 99kez, has continued to show that when he takes his craft seriously it’s hard to deny that he isn’t a great artist. Now Scott just needs to keep the momentum of this release into the new year and stay consistent.
